It was actually through Engstrom’s tireless efforts, and that of his partner, that these ‘amateur sleuths’ were able to produce a detailed report that resulted in the capture of many of Hussein’s top rank and file, as well as the dictator himself in 2003. Engstrom became a celebrity Mormon overnight, as the man who had helped to capture Saddam.
