Ezra Benson | Mormon Politicians

Despite the clash with his duties to the Church, Benson accepted the position and set about trying to repair the damage caused by bureaucracy, weathering a political storm of opposition for all of Eisenhower’s two terms. But it was to the credit of this famous Mormon politician and spoke of his character that not once during his esteemed service was Benson’s integrity ever brought into question.
