David Bisset | Mormon Olympians

[sc:top_left_adsense300x250_1] Winner of a bronze medal, famous Mormon athlete David Bisset created a stir at the 2006 Winter Olympics when working as the brakeman for Canada’s sled teams, winning the bronze with the four man sled; a lucky ‘break’ for the brakeman who was filling in for an injury. He was also able to lift the other categories from 21st to 15th place during his time on the brake.

Bisset also helped to reach several World Cup finals, and went on to become a football player using his strength and speed in the bobsled push to great advantage.
